**Requirements**:- PHD degree in Material engineering, Polymers, Chemical, metallurgy, or related fields- 5-10 years experience in extrusion (primary extrusion and jacketing extrusion).- Applied Research, Laboratory testing techniques- Material properties/ According to the CoE mission.- Material analysis, Quality standards and system regulations (ISO)- Analytical and problem solving skills- Projects Management.- Design of experience- "MS Office Softwares ( Excel, Words, PPT,..)- English is a must."**Main Activities**- Defines test methods of expertise studies in cooperation with universities & other specialized entities.- Implement new materials in production plants- Stay up to date on latest trends in screw design, tooling, and extrusion equipment- Work with the plant to improve performance of existing materials and processes- Develop a relationship with IP, RnD, Materials team, and Purchasing to identify key technologies needed to implement next generation materials- Lead projects on new screw/tooling designs and manage the implementation strategy across Coficab NA.- Performs laboratory tests related to material properties and compound formulation.- Establishes test reports and conclusions related to expertise or special tests and defines accordingly test plan required updates and required action plans.- Provides proactive and timely support for Research & Development and Innovation projects, particularly related to the development of DFMEA in order to ensure raw material compliance during new products development process.- Suggests continuous improvement actions to improve equipment and material properties and material testing plans Complies with the Quality and EHS Systems requirements.
