REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, industrial engineering, Logistics engineer or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining high levels of accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory Management:
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs.
- Monitor and analyze inventory turnover rates and take corrective actions as needed.
- Lead efforts to maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
- Implement and enforce best practices for inventory organization and storage.
- Plan and manage regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Assure zero obsolescence of material.
- Perform and achieve the logistic freight budget
Procurement and Supplier Management:
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and agreements.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives in the procurement process.
Logistics and Distribution:
- Lead logistics and distribution operations to ensure on-time delivery of materials to production.
- Optimize transportation routes and carriers for cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor shipment tracking and proactively address any delays or issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve logistics processes.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and develop the materials management team, providing guidance and coaching.
- Set department goals and performance targets, and track progress.
- Foster a collaborative and customer-oriented work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and materials usage.
- Analyze data to identify trends, shortages, and excess inventory.
- Prepare reports for senior management, summarizing key metrics and insights.
- Develop and implement improvement plans based on data analysis.
