If you love challenges, want to experience development opportunities unrestrained, and want recognition that pays off, then you've come to the right place with Lear.As Materials Manager, you will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and monitoring of production and material control systems, from the process of shipping, receipt, storage, and assortment in adequate time and quantity, as well as the scheduling of production and on-time shipments of the finished product to customers, with a minimum cost in transportation, inventories, and obsolescence.YOUR TASKS WILL BE:Control raw material and finished product inventories while maintaining good reliability against the inventory system.Ensure a level schedule that guarantees to meet customer requirements and operate the plant efficiently.Track engineering and model year changes to protect customers and the plant with minimal impact from premium freight or obsolescence.Ensure the correct inventory forecast as well as its execution and scope.Coordinate semi-annual physical inventories.Assist your staff in solving problems and provide the necessary operational resources to maintain a healthy and disciplined work environment.Analyze and monitor the trend and actions of Excesses and Obsolete Raw Material and Finished Product.Ensure the correct flow of material in the internal and external supply chain.Ensure the correct handling of Excesses and Obsoletes.Ensure the correct planning of production based on the defined FG design.TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.3+ years as Materials Manager or related role within the automotive wiring harness manufacturing industry.Knowledge of Advanced Procurement, logistics, warehouse, C-TPAT.Experience with QAD System MfgPro Advanced.Problem-solving and negotiation skills.Advanced level of English (Bilingual).#J-18808-Ljbffr
