**Main Responsabilities**
Monitors the good performance and quality of service by the areas of Production Planning, Purchasing, Raw Material Warehouse and Finished Product Warehouse, facilitating the fulfillment of objectives and projects in a timely manner, serving, and solving situations in the areas and providing technical guidance and advice to Leaders and Supervisors.
Maintains optimal inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries that meet customer requirements and reduce freight and storage costs.
Monitors the planning of production programs, verifying the adequate distribution of production loads and the release of work orders on time by Planning.
Supervise the adequate purchase and acquisition of materials for production, as well as supplies, ensuring optimal delivery, price and quality by suppliers and the efficient dispatch of components.
Monitors the receipt, shipping and logistics functions of the company, verifying the correct reception of materials and the adequate assortment to production lines based on priorities by the Raw Material Warehouse and the expeditious shipment of product by the Product Warehouse Finished.
Provides support and guidance to department personnel as required to maintain high standards of work and efficiency in activities.
Ensures adherence to systems, policies, procedures and standards of the company and corporate.
**Qualifications**
- B.S.
in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of general experience in inventory control, production scheduling, purchasing and materials management.
- APICS certification is desirable
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish
- English
- Ability to optimize resources, labor and costs
- Provable experience in project management
- Experience in the use of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement tools as well as related improvement projects
- Experience working under the ISO-9000 standard
- Experience in the use of MRP and ERP systems
- Strong technical, managerial and leadership skills
- Understanding of cost drivers in manufacturing operations
- Management of Pull Systems (KanBan)
