- Manage the planning and flow of materials and FGs to maximize delivery performance while optimizing inventory performance - Manage a team of buyers, planners, inventory control and shipping resources. Increase productivity, professional development and careers - Measure and manage the performance of materials indirect and direct support teams. - Support the SIOP process and step in to lead as required - Identify, share and implement best in class supply chain practices - Develop standard work, policies and procedures in collaboration with other facilities Materials Managers and professional supply chain resources - Suggest and lead continuous improvement for your department and others - Manage Supplier held inventory programs to improve delivery, reduce lea-times and avoid E&O and risk to Vertiv - Collaborate with other departments to drive continuous improvement for Vertiv - Collaborate with other facilities and regions of the world to optimize inventory globally - ITC leader for Materials Department - Monitor capacities and product line delivery performance and daily throughputs. - Work with manufacturing operation to improve material flow through the plant and increase productivity
Experiência y requisitos
- BS is business administration, or related discipline. - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, materials management, production planning or other material planning function. - Experience in an industrial, high mix job shop environment - Very proficient in spreadsheets, MS Office. - An excellent understanding of our manufacturing operations, supply chain management and appropriate Vertiv products. - Outstanding communication skills and ability to work at different levels of the organization and with outside customers as required - Experience with ERP systems - Experience leading cross-functional teams is required - Knowledge of SIOP and production scheduling dynamics is required - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - APICS or CPM certification - Bilingual - MBA or related advanced degree strongly preferred
