As a Materials Management Analyst II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing supply chain efficiency and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support our production schedules. You will utilize your analytical skills and expertise in materials management to drive cost reduction and improve overall operational performance. You will report directly to our Materials Management Manager and you'll work out of our San Luis Potosi location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company's bottom line by optimizing inventory levels, implementing effective procurement strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline materials management processes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for working capital improvements
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective management of working capital
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize excess or obsolete stock
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and establish effective procurement plans
- Solve material related problems
- Ensure timely material ordering
- Provide data and analysis
- Escalate shortages and potential shortages
**YOU MUST HAVE**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- 2+ years of experience in materials management or supply chain analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in materials management software and ERP systems - SAP
- Intermediate English level
