**A snapshot of Your Day**

The materials planner coordinator is responsible for supporting the development of siemens energy materials management department. Ensure the delivery of product in quantity, mix and timeliness, maintaining control of warehouses and inventories, monitoring the follow-up of strategies to increase the profitability of the organization through continuous improvement.

**How You'll Make an Impact**
- Coordinate materials planners' team. Effective teams supervision, task delegation and develop the internal team.
- Establish strong working relationships and networking with key areas to negotiate and source raw and indirect materials (R&D, Quality area, Engineering, Manufacturing, CS, Purchasing, Logistics, Production)
- Coordinate the proper reception of materials according to requirements to timeline, forecast and sales.
- Control of parameters into the system (SAP) in order to release orders on time.
- Coordinate the material handling to avoid excess and obsolete materials.
- Maintain the accuracy of the inventory.
- Coordinate the follow up material process.
- Implement improvements in planning process and production plan.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Handle Raw Material transportation damage claims and disposition.
- Correspond and communicate with suppliers for any updates regarding orders and/or products.
- Develop and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with suppliers and partners.
- Lead Daily Production meeting to review all incoming shipments and product needs.
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to research and identify inventory discrepancies, in a timely manner.
- Follow-up to supplier KPIs
- Risk Management, identify, escalates and lead risks associated with logistics operations.
- Ability to work effectively with others and be participative as a team player.
- Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**What You Bring**
- Bachelor´s Degree in Industrial Engineering, International Trade or related
- 3 to 5 years of experience with people management in materials, planning or logistics.
- Interdepartmental Coordination
- Fluent English
- Excel expert
- SAP Expert

**Technical Knowledge**:

- Suppliers' management
- Project Management
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management systems
- Capability Analysis and ability to interpret data for decision making.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Processes, such as Sales and Operations Planning, MRP, Forecasting, Demand and Supply Planning, Indirect Procurement, Materials Management and Logistics
- Material flow
- Knowledge in import and export process
- Transportation Management

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead multifunctional team.
- A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and other; easily accepts constructive input from others.
