**Job Summary**
This position leads the planning and execution of getting material needed at the right time and thei right quantity for each production facility in VGNA.
Responsible for Inventory Value, DOH, E&O.
This individual will work closely with the plant operations teams to deploy standard process and tools to optimize materials operations.
This will include onsite support for driving continuous improvement and problem solving.
**Responsibilities**:
Checks shortage report and assures material availability for the productive plants
Reviews and determines if is agreeable to take "Add in's" for additional demand
Controls Inventory Value and is constantly checking overmax inventory to look for reduction opportunities
Controls items to be with in min-max range
Control daily critical items and communicates in timely manner with the plants
Communicates proactively on the aging ASN with each site leader
Controls plants disruptions eliminated (0 zero down time)
Requests on time cycle counts in case item goes below 50% min and assures the production plan is covered
Maintains excess/obsolete material controlled.
Coordinate control M Jobs audit every quarter
Leads historical forecast analysis in case material is being overpulled by the plants
Review material requirements planning, capacity requirements planning and logistics
Lead material Deviations regarding material availability, (Quality, Logistics, Discrepancies)
Operate whit urgency when it's needed to mitigate impact to our customers, able to maintain calm on stressful situations
Promotes the IMPACT strategy and supports Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.

**Qualifications**:
**Education level required**
- Bachelor's
**Years and area of experience required**
- Minimum 2 years experience in Materials Planning, Plant operations or related field.
Plant operations experience is preferred
**Technical knowledge**
- ERP (Oracle) business intelligence platforms (Cognos, Qlikview), Miscrosoft office (Excel, PowerPoint), and product knowledge.
**Soft skills**
- Problem solving skills, team attitude, ability to speak to different levels of the organization
