**What You Will Do**
- Creates and develops a strategic global that fosters the highest level of commitment to continuous improvement in product quality, cost, and delivery within the category assigned, for the Car Audio Division,
- Plans and directs the activities of the supplier so that maximum, measurable results achieved.
- Ensure high spend compliance through preferred suppliers based on category requirements.
- Serves as the principal authority and liaison for the company with suppliers on business objectives in line with corporate procurement
- Builds and manages base line spend (history and forecast) date for Car Audio for their category.
Performs operational review of contract performance and spending for categories.
- Develops supplier metrics such as spend/savings Tracker, KPI's, etc., monitors and reports on supplier performance criteria.
- Coordinates efforts with engineering and quality personnel in developing supplier's capabilities to produce critical components.
Approves product design changes that require tooling expenditures.
- Participates and provides support related with quality and EHSS systems management, objectives, targets and programs
- Provide monthly Master Schedule based on customer's need with Visions to 3, 6 and 12 months
- Coordinate daily meeting schedule review/confirmation to assure the availability components with his/her direct report and all support areas.
**What You Need**
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Materials, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management or a related field, and 7+ years of sourcing and purchasing materials within the category.
- APICS is a PLUS
- Engineering Degree and PMP Certification a plus
- Demonstrated experience in Supply Chain problem solving
- Knowledge and participation in Six Sigma activities, including participation in Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other continuous improvement activities.
- Excellent verbal, organization and written communication skills.
- Experience working with process improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in computer use (MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook and SAP).
- Ability to work in a metrics-driven, fast-paced and dynamic environment.
