**Materials Planner**
Iztapalapa, CDMX (Onsite)
**Position Summary**
Thales is looking for a Materials Planner who is primarily responsible for having enough Materials to guarantee Production Continuity taking into consideration the Inventory Levels within authorized KPI's.
In this position, you will also be responsible for analyzing and prepare recovery plans in case of risks or delays of Materials vs Plan.
**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Ensure optimal levels of PVC & Overlays inventory to guarantee stock availability to attend the Production Forecast and Volumes Objectives by doing Materials stock revisions, MRP run analysis and Purchase Orders elaboration.
- Analyze and prepare recovery plans in case of risks or delays of Materials vs Plan.
- Establish strong partnership relationships that are mutually beneficial with our suppliers, to facilitate improvements in quality, cost and overall responsiveness; a well as maintain a strong Relationship & Communication with Corporate Teams.
- Maintain Corporate MSOH Goals while avoiding Production Impacts due to lack of Materials.
- Strong compromise on Continuous Improvement of their own Process and the Area.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Degree in Administration, Engineering or related field.
- 2-4 years of progressive experience in planning, purchasing or procurement.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
- Strong knowledge of Demand Planning and Inventories administration experience is required.
- Advanced experience with Excel.
- ERP knowledge would be beneficial (SAP, Oracle).
- Strong communicator and negotiator, analytical, results-oriented, customer-oriented, a strong time manager, autonomous, honest, and empathetic.
