About the Role This position collaborates with suppliers to ensure execution to planned orders and schedules and resolves issues with suppliers to ensure material availability for facility production. The incumbent works with the facility production schedulers and operations personnel to support facility production and point of use material availability. Ensures alignment of facility inventory accuracy and inventory systems planning parameters with the plan for every part to maintain planning integrity. On this roll your principal task is ensured to have material in stock on time and form, according to our production requirements, be aligned with our metrics and goals using lean processes to meet customer's objectives. What You Will Do Ensure to keep inventory available in warehouses for production lines. Implement and maintain monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date. Management of optimal inventory levels. Create, document, and follow up on actions plans for any opportunities. Degree Requirement: College or university degree (Logistics Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Business Management Engineer, etc) What You Have – Skills and Experiences In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute your unique skills and experiences. Relationship Management: Effective communication with suppliers and customers, detailed and clear information on critical situations, ability to communicate with all levels. Logistics Management & Transportation - MFG: Administration and knowledge of logistics for land, sea and air materials, avoiding expedited shipments, determining the best shipping plan according to our requirements
