Also, is responsible for maintaining the inventory levels according to the established goals by Management, ensuring the information in the system is reliable regarding purchase orders.**Responsibilities**:- Supervise/manage Materials Programmers, Jr Materials Planner and MRO/Tool Crib Purchase Supervisor.- Evaluate purchase requirements and steel and/or materials acquisition.- Plan steel and/or raw material purchase.- Develop the control of inventories.- Negotiate with suppliers the excess of materials and intervene in nonconforming product for product disposal.- Ensure to have the required steel and/or material to meet the production plan.- Notify, on a timely manner, in the event there is a steel and/or material shortage to react accordingly.- Assist in payments to suppliers.- Supervise and develop personnel.- Evaluate suppliers.- Follow up to specific projects.- Participate/lead continuous improvement projects.- Support and participate in any other project related to the role.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's in Business or similar.- English 90% (capable of verbal communication and ability to write).- 2 years of proven leadership experience in a similar position.- Inventory management.- Legal aspects related to purchasing.- SAP.- Computer packages (MS Office).- Continuous improvement methodology.- Basic knowledge of the CTPAT program.- Accountability.- Conflict management.**We Offer**:Competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits plans which include medical and dental insurance, company-sponsored life insurance, retirement security savings plan, short- and long-term disability programs and tuition assistance.
