As Design Release Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and growing environment reporting directly to the Engineering Tools & Process Regional Manager.
Your Tasks will be: Route wiring using Catia Routing Electrical toolsAddress and resolve packaging issues related to wiringParticipate in customer meetings related to wiringWork in the customer's PLM following OEM rules and requirementsRelease designs following customer requirements and standardsMerge MCAD data with ECAD dataTroubleshoot and solve discrepancies between MCAD and ECADShare knowledge of tools and processes, train less experienced designersCreate space claim models for provisional components, throughs, grommets, etc.Create presentations using PowerPoint or ExcelProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsTo be successful in this role you will need: 5 or more years of experience in the automotive industryExperience with Catia softwareUnderstanding of customer specifications, design software tools by OEM, 3D mechanical model reading, and electrical schematics.
