This MCAD engineer hourly position is a great opportunity to take an essential role in the success of our business by participating on mechanical design projects for different OEM's. **Job responsibilities**:
- Product mechanical design at component, subassembly and assembly level using NX (3D & 2D)
- Design for manufacturability (Tooling revision with suppliers & assembly process with manufacturing engineers)
- Customer CAD data exchange platforms ( FORD, GM, Stellantis & Others )
- Dimensioning and tolerancing of mechanical drawings
- Must be able to work with multiple people and work as a team.
- Active participation in plan to address Dept Risk and opportunities.
- Active participation to achieve Quality objectives.
- Participate in updates to MCAD process, lessons learned and design standards.
**Job Skills & Qualifications**:
- Experience on Customer CAD data exchange platforms ( FORD, GM, Stellantis & Others )
- Experience on Customer 3D & 2D standards (Ford, GM, Stellantis, etc)
- NX or similar 3D design software
- Bilingual English Spanish
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive
- Analytic
- Self-motivated
