.SHAPE THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY FROM DAY ONE.This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment; Connection Systems business unit located in Saltillo Coahuila Mexico.Summary (About this Position):The Aptiv Connection Systems Team is looking for a MePa Process Engineer to join the North America Flow 4 Manufacturing Engineering Team. The MePa Process Engineer is responsible for coordinating and following up on all activities concerning a new F4 project launch with a relentless attitude, working with rigor and pace to execute project activities related to software/programming and automated assembly processes such as prep terminals, potting dispensing and curing, resistance welding, heat stacking, and EOL tester integration with molding equipment. This position interacts directly with different stakeholders like Suppliers, Program Management, Purchasing, SQE, APQP, PE, Molding TE, etc., with the aim to fulfill flawless project launch execution.This position supports activities in the Device portfolio (MePa division), reporting directly to the MePa Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor.Your Role (i.E. Manage time/work in support of program launches.Provide customer support through visits at meetings or on-site with OEM, next tier supplier plant.Maintain professional and responsive equipment supplier contact.Your Required Background (i.E. Must Haves):Education: Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering or experience with custom manufacturing equipment for assembly development.High level of English proficiency (90% or higher).Problem-solving skills, product drawing interpretation, GD&T, and stack-up tolerance studies.PLC programming (any platform).GD&T and drawing interpretation.SCADA systems development.Homologation and development of inspection systems (2D cameras, 3D scanners).Silicon dispensing and curing.Leak testing.Electrical test knowledge: high pot and low voltage, pogo pin selection for specific applications.Laser marking/etching DMC and alphanumeric.Servo motors and drives.MSA and statistics applied to process performance improvement
