On the wind turbines, the team also conducts measurements to assure the wind turbine functionality and performance when placed in operation. We are engineers, scientists, and business people dedicated to the success of the wind energy industry. In short, we verify through measurements that wind farms and wind turbines will produce enough high-quality energy over their service life.The SEMELA DNV Measurements team consists of approximately 40 staff located in Spain, Italy, Brazil, Chile, México, and South Africa. It is part of a global team of Measurements experts with other competence centers in China, India, Germany, Australia, and the US with further expertise in other DNV offices.DNV is seeking a Measurements Engineer. This role will be serving the Energy Systems team.The purpose of this role is to seek an ambitious individual with experience managing projects for leading wind turbine manufacturers and a diverse range of wind project developers and owners.You should be prepared to travel (~50%) to wind farms worldwide, primarily in Mexico and Latin America, and relish the opportunity to experience the view from atop wind turbine nacelles. You will utilize your technical hardware, software, and engineering skills to conduct complex analyses and contribute to a company renowned for its technical expertise in the energy industry.As a trained engineer or scientist, you possess a keen eye for detail and a sense of urgency in communicating observations and proposed solutions effectively.
