Mechanical Commissioning Lead

Mechanical Lead will report directly to the Startup Manager.
Promote and provide leadership for Safety.
Direct and coordinate the daily activities of SU Mechanical and construction craft.
Assume direct responsibility of all mechanical components and systems integrity for completion of contractual requirements with the highest degree of safety and quality.
Responsibilities Develop required procedure related to SU activities.
Oversee and/or perform initial equipment and pump check-out.
Oversee and/or perform all system line flushes.
Maintain updated Red-Line/As-Built drawings and documentation, ensuring that all modifications documented are tracked through completion both in the field and on all records.
Coordinate and verify all check-out and commissioning of systems.
Coordinate completing and recording equipment initial run data.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical commissioning on construction projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and commissioning processes.
Experience in developing and implementing commissioning plans.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
