Mechanical Design EngineerLocations: Mexico, GuadalajaraTime Type: Full timePosted on: 2 Days AgoJob Requisition ID: JR0268128Job Details:Job Description:Your main task will be working on a team designing mechanical systems and hardware used in a variety of cutting-edge platforms to test and validate new Intel processors.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to driving designs from cradle to grave, including all major elements of the design cycle such as requirements definition, mechanical design, detailed 2D and 3D CAD, structural, tolerance, and other relevant analysis, design for manufacturability, usability and reliability, design documentation, hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and engineering support.Qualifications:Minimum qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.2+ years of experience working in mechanical and thermal engineering fundamentals.2+ years of experience using Creo or similar CAD software within a collaborative PDM environment like Windchill.2+ years of experience making component drawings and assembly drawings.2+ years of experience designing for manufacturability including machining processes and assembly processes.Advanced English level.Availability to work at Intel office site is required (2-5 days a week, depending on the needs of the operation).This position is in Mexico, it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico.Preferred qualifications: These are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:2+ years of experience in mechanical analysis of components and assemblies, including tolerance analysis and static structural analysis in Ansys, Abaqus, or a similar FEA solver.Experience working with thermal simulation.Job Type:Experienced HireShift:Shift 1 (Mexico)Primary Location:Mexico, GuadalajaraBusiness Group:The Data Center & Artificial Intelligence Group (DCAI) is at the heart of Intel's transformation from a PC company to a company that runs the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices.
