**Job Summary**The **_Mechanical Design Engineer _**will contribute to the development of new products; work in a cross-functional environment with electrical, controls, & other development groups; manage a variety of tasks and activities in this dynamic environment; and solve complex problems related to liquid cooling for servers and data centers.**Responsibilities**:- Creates/modifies mechanical Parts/Assemblies/drawings in CAD systems, such as Creo and/or Solid Edge.- Create and maintain Bill of Materials and unit configurator logic to select the correct BOM's based on options selected by the customer.- Works with Marketing, Manufacturing, Service and Quality to understand their requirements to design a product that best meets all of their needs.- Assist with prototype builds by providing technical support and providing guidance when issues arise.- Gather feedback from prototype builds and field trials and implement appropriate improvements to the product.- Understands the products, suggest ideas and improvements.- Assists with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in engineering or product development adjacent degree with extensive experience.- 3-5 years of thermal/mechanical design & analysis experience in a similar role- Fluency in English required (read, write, and speak).- Basic working knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts, products, and safety.- Highly proficient in 3D CAD software, preferred CREO 4.0 and greater- Experience with Sheetmetal, piping and assemblies is a plus.- Create and revise drawings and bills of materials.- Change order management and Data-entry systems familiarity - Oracle, Agile, etc.- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and methodically.- Detail oriented.- Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
