Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwideJoin us as a Mechanical Design Engineer, and you'll be looking at a career-defining role based at Sahagun, Hidalgo, Mexico.**What you´ll be doing**:We work in a team of multidisciplinary people, and you may spend the day performing 3D design annotations and 2D deliverables in compliance with Quality Cost and Design (QCD) commitments and metier rules and processes.**Here are some examples of activities you will be involved in**:- Modelling and storing allocated volumes and interfaces for sub-systems / components in Digital Mock-Up; - Performing Detailed Design on internal sub-systems; - Filling-up attributes for each part in Digital Mock-Up (naming, material, Fire & Smoke, etc.); - Verifying consistency of digital mock-up (no clash, etc.) and compliance with requirements (allocated volumes, weight, interfaces etc.) on assigned scope; - Preparing and documenting Domain Design Reviews; - Updating Digital Mock-Up taking into account Change Requests; - Checking CADs' and sub-contractor's Design Quality; - Realizing stack-up analysis; - Realizing Bill of Material.**What we are looking for**:- Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 3 to 5 years of experience; - Experience working with CATIA; - Good Communications and interpersonal skills including with third parties (customer).- English operational in read/writing and technical meetings.Alstom is a global company where our people vision and values embrace Diversity and Inclusion (D&I).
