With over 22,700 associates, it's the largest software development center of Bosch, outside Germany, indicating that it is the Technology Powerhouse of Bosch in India with a global footprint and presence in the US, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.**Job Description**:Product design for Dremel rotary tools meeting customer requirements and specifications following Bosch product development processes.- CAD design for specialized parts using CREO Parametric- Evaluation and selection of different materials to meet design specifications.- Creation of new product concepts for tools and accessories.- Creation of engineering drawings with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing based on ASME Y14.5.- Develop/maintain/release database using PDMLink.- Develop/maintain/release documentation using SAP & BOSCH tools and processes.- Hold design review meetings with suppliers and colleagues to clarify all technical aspects of components and assemblies as well as incorporate design feedback.- Understand and interpret FEA results and incorporate design improvements according to feedback.- Communicate with BOSCH core engineering on product direction, design standards & customer requirements.- Support design proposals for new business opportunities outlining BOSCH design solutions to customer requirements.**Qualifications**:3+ years of experience on product mechanical design involving concept generation, CAD modeling, drawing creation and releases as per Product Engineering Process- Deep understanding of different plastics and their properties as well as surface finishes.- Experience evaluating and selecting between different production processes to provide best cost/benefit option- Experience with functional dimensioning as well as defining tolerances according to production of parts.- Deep understanding and experience of GD&T and stack up tolerance analysis.- Experience managing engineering changes using tools such as DRBFM and DFMEA.- Understanding of brushed and brushless motors functioning system- Understanding of DC and AC consumer electronics- Experience with 3D CAD software (CREO Parametric preferred)- Experience with CREO surface design, model based definition and top down design for complex assemblies.Additional InformationExperience in GD&T, DFMEA, DRBFM, DVP&R, DFSS, Problem Solving,VAVE activities
