**You will join the Research and Development team at our site in San Luis Potosi.**
**In the R&D team, you will be in charge of the mechanical design of the newest generation of electric motors for Hybrid
- and Electric cars.
**Your challenges**:
- **Investigation of design concepts for electrical machines, incl. selection, dimensioning and optimisation of components.**
- **Design in the Teamcenter development environment with Catia.**
- **You create all necessary technical documents, data sheets and descriptions**
- **You analyse tolerance chains and define form and position tolerances for components and assemblies.**
- **Preparing and participating in customer and supplier meetings**
- **Participating in investigations for failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)**
- **You define test specifications at component level, evaluate test results and incorporate these into component optimization**

**Your profile**
- **You are solution-oriented with an ability to work in a demanding environment and with the design centres in Europe and the US. Therefore good english skills are and advantage**
- **You have a diploma in mechatronic engineering or a similar qualification**
- **Ideally, you have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience (in the automotive environment)**
- **You are familiar with the materials steel, aluminium and plastic, as well as with tolerance calculations and the design of machine elements.**
- **Specialist knowledge of the physical interrelationships of electrical machines is desirable**
- **Excellent team spirit, able to take initiative and motivated to learn fast**
