Designs and analyzes mechanical systems, equipment and components.- Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.- Directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication.- Provides design information to drafting for packaging documentation.

**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications**:- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering or related (documentation related to bachelor's degree completion will be required).- 3+ years relevant of professional/academic experience in mechanical design.- Experience in using Pro/E Creo, Solidworks or other parametric CAD.- Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering.- Strong knowledge in engineering design and analysis tools.- Understanding of Mechanical hardware development life cycle.- Understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC, sheet metal, 3D Printing, and injection molding.- Modeling, Assembly, Detailing, Sheet Metal, Mechanical.- Advanced English level.
**Preferred Qualifications**:- Knowledge and experience in component and platform/systems.- FMEA and risk matrix tools.- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.- Knowledge of PDM tools such as Windchill.- Design of Experiments (DoE).- Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
