This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.Role PurposeMechanical design, creation and modification of technical documentation of telecommunication's network elements, using CAD systems.Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical designDesign/modify parts using PTC CreoCreating engineering drawings based on Creo models according to current standardsCreating technical documentation (specifications, materials, etc.)Modification of technical documentation, in particular 3D models and engineering drawingsWork closely with product engineers, product development engineers and/or technical leaders to identify customer requirementsImplementation of process optimization and cost reduction into the design during documentation phaseWork in project groups creating new telecommunication solutionsCollaborate with other organizations to establish timelines and solve design problemsKeep up to date on industry and engineering standardsKnowledge And Skill RequirementsEducationEducation min. bachelor's in engineering: Mechanical, Mechatronic or ElectromechanicCompetenciesGood knowledge of CAD systems (2D and 3D)Technical drawing readingBasic materials knowledgeExperience in design processes (school or work)Ability to communicate with internal and external clients on technical issuesExperience in engineering/technical work – welcomeGD&T knowledge and Tolerance analysis - welcomeAdditional skills: teamwork, interpersonal skills, very good working time organization, self-reliance, good computer literacyCommunicative English (including technical)Work Experience0 - 2 years of experience in engineering roles#J-18808-Ljbffr
