**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Create customizations of standard computer room air conditioning (CRAC) products as laid out by customer specifications.- Collaborate across the disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, as well as production and offering teams.- Perform a variety of engineering design verifications using traditional engineering methods and CAD programs.- Develops solutions to complex problems where little or no precedence exists - the use of ingenuity and creativity is regularly required. Review completed CAD and schematic drafting to verify design intent.**QUALIFICATIONS****Minimum Job Qualifications**:- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in an engineering field.- Basic understanding of thermodynamics.- Strong understanding mechanical and electrical design.- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment independently and as a member of a dynamic team; offer and receive constructive criticism- Demonstrated history of delivering quality products to market as part of an engineering team- Excellent project management skills and communication skills Great English skills**Preferred Qualifications**:- Preferred 4-8 years of experience in an HVAC related engineering field.- Experience with PLM systems (BOM management and change order release)- Experience working closely with associates in manufacturing engineering and production roles- Understanding of manufacturing limitations, formed sheet metal and formed copper tubes- Understanding electrical schematic layout and creation Proficient in 3D CAD software, preferred CREO 4.0 and greater**EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS**Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree from an accredited college or university**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**- Light Lifting (5 Ibs.25 Ibs.)- Frequent Standing- Frequent kneeling / crawling / stooping Frequent bending / twisting**ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**Protective Equipment Required (earplugs, gloves, eyewear, cut resistant sleaves)**TRAVEL TIME REQUIRED**(None)**_OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: _**_Safety.
