JOB SUMMARY & ACCOUNTABILITIES:The Design & Mechanical Engineer C is responsible for designing mechanical systems of air handler units, planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria applied to HVAC units, Data Centers, and any mechanical design related to the company.
Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, and monitor work for compliance with applicable codes and accepted engineering practices.Typical Duties:Provide feedback and reports on any design discrepancies.Participate in all internal activities and projects in the company.Prepare design specifications, analyses, and recommendations.Interface with other departments to complete designs and drawings.Modify existing engineering designs.Handle information via PLM system.Create and edit parts in all internal software.Prepare structures for the factory shop floor following our manufacturing and standard constructions related to the product.Generate and maintain bill of materials.Prepare work instructions and standard work documents.Provide factory shop floor support.Support the Service Department.Provide support to all internal and external customers.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or any other engineering disciplines.Engineering student nearing graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or any other engineering disciplines.Zero years of experience in a factory environment.Experience using 3D Modeling Software (PTC Creo, Inventor).Basic knowledge of Refrigeration Systems.Knowledge of PLM system, using Oracle is preferred.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, drawings, service bulletins, equipment specifications, etc.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers.Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.Strong teamwork skills.Intermediate level of English.Number of people that report to him: None.COMPETENCIES:Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Work ethic.Accurate listening.Creativity.Flexibility.Meeting standards.Personal accountability.Problem management.Results orientation.Sense of timing.Using common sense.POSITION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:Ability to travel to the United States.#J-18808-Ljbffr
