**Job Summary**
The **_Mechanical Engineer _**will contribute to the development of new products; work in a cross-functional environment with electrical, controls, & other development groups; manage a variety of tasks and activities in this dynamic environment; and solve complex problems related to liquid cooling for servers and data centers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Creates/modifies mechanical Parts/Assemblies/drawings in CAD systems, such as Creo and/or Solid Edge.
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials and unit configurator logic to select the correct BOM's based on options selected by the customer.
- Works with Marketing, Manufacturing, Service and Quality to understand their requirements to design a product that best meets all their needs.
- Assist with prototype builds by providing technical support and providing guidance when issues arise.
- Gather feedback from prototype builds and field trials and implement appropriate improvements to the product.
- Understands the products, suggest ideas and improvements.
- Assists with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or product development adjacent degree with extensive experience.
- 2+ years of engineering product development or support experience.
- Fluency in English required (read, write, and speak).
- Basic working knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts, products, and safety.
- Proficiency with mechanical CAD tools - Creo, Solid Edge, or Solid Works.
- Experience with Sheetmetal, piping and assemblies is a plus.
- Create and revise drawings and bills of materials.
- Change order management and Data-entry systems familiarity - Oracle, Agile, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and methodically.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional global development teams.
