MECHANICAL ENGINEER TEAM LEADERSummary: Reporting to the Global Mechanical Engineering Manager. Responsible to lead a team of Mechanical Engineers, making robust designs according to timing, budget and quality of commercial and functional specifications.Qualifications:Mechanical Engineer or any related engineering disciplines5 years of experience in leadership positions, experience with assembly lines and testing equipmentInternational exposure across the five continentsKnowledge of computer financial applications and ERP systemsRequirements:Mechanical manufacturing processes (Mechanization, surface finishes, treatment and finishes)Extensive knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably Solid EdgeTechnical documentation (drawings, specifications, etc.)Expertise in design for manufacturing technologies, tolerancing analysis, FMEA and quality assuranceHands-on experience in rapid prototyping & finite element analysis methodStrong knowledge of project management and engineering techniquesStrong computer skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of Machine Directive, Pneumatic or Hydraulic components, EPLAN and ACAD systemsFully fluent in English, written and spokenFull availability to travelResponsibilities:Plan, coordinate and supervise the design of mechanical partsDevelop drawings and details of complex designsEnsure zero deviation according to cost and timing of mechanical designCollaborate closely with Team Leaders of the other departments and Project Management, in order to align with project objectivesEnsure the correct selection of the elements for the purchase of mechanical componentsCarry out designs especially at a conceptual levelEnsure how to standardize designsEnsure that all required procedures and standards are implemented and respectedPerform SAT of machines if neededCollaborate in the development and preparation of commercial offersEstablish effective communication protocolsVerify the design calculations of other engineers within the Mechanical Engineering teamKnow and apply safety specificationsElaborate accurate technical specifications in coordination with the customer and the project teamCreation of a library of standard groups and componentsEnsure Machine Manuals and technical reports are developed accuratelyPrepare clear and updated and on-time documentation for Purchasing / Assembly areasEstablish weekly reviews with Team Leaders to take corrective actions#J-18808-Ljbffr
