Mechanical Engineering Intern

Responsibilities:Provide support to maintenance staff and management as needed.Support preventive basic maintenance on manufacturing equipment.Participate in basic reparations of issues found during preventive maintenance and reactive calls.Work under the guidance of Supervisor and Technicians to complete tasks.Enter and maintain accurate entries in the equipment maintenance database.Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.Understand, Create, Simplify.Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Student technologist, technician or engineer in stage of being able to carry out professional practices.Technical knowledge in electrical circuits, logic electronics, maintenance of tools and equipment, safety and health at work.Ability to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.Background check results satisfactory to SEL.Negative drug test result(s).Preferred Qualifications:Basic knowledge troubleshooting and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment, including analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits.Basic knowledge maintaining and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment.Basic knowledge of programming automated production equipment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
