Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.Over 3 cumulative years of experience with industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities, including but not limited to: data centers, power generation, oil/gas facilities.Fluent English, with the ability to interact with professionals globally.Job Responsibilities:Provide full support for AWS datacenters from project start to improvement and maintenance.Solve problems, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and create Corrective Action Plans (CA) for electromechanical equipment failures.Support the physical infrastructure operation team with training, operational procedure reviews, and event support.Propose upgrades and design solutions for data centers that enhance capacity, availability, energy efficiency, and sustainability.Collaborate with internal teams to promote standards ensuring consistency and reliability.Manage concurrent projects across multiple geographic regions.Lead engineering audits on cooling, power distribution, fire protection, and other systems, including site visits.Produce technical reports on availability risks with recommended mitigations.Act as resident engineer during new construction projects supporting execution, commissioning, and transfer for operation.Key Attributes:Strong engineering judgment and ability to provide recommendations despite uncertainty.Detail-oriented with a data-driven approach.Experience in solving problems with engineering solutions.Project management and engineering consultancy experience.Ability to build trust and relationships with various stakeholders.Adaptable and willing to engage in fieldwork.Enthusiastic about a mix of office and field work.About the Team:The Field Engineering team covers the entire lifecycle of data centers, from initial design to the execution of retrofit plans.
