.Responsibilities & Qualifications_- Development of risk based operational integrity plans (life cycle management of systems and equipment).- Development of operating procedures that details system maintenance, considering regulatory, safety, commercial, maintenance cost, and equipment performance drivers.- Preparation of commissioning documentation and procedures.- Development (cost, scoping, execution planning) of system improvement projects, including completing financial cost/benefit analysis, project scope and schedule, and stakeholder buy in.- Technical execution of system improvement projects and oversight of engineering contractors.- Prepare and review calculations, design documents, specifications, conceptual studies, designs, reports, and proposals- Perform and direct equipment condition assessments, develop testing plans, perform equipment root cause failure analysis.- Review and evaluation of assembly plans and assembly of main equipment (compressors, turbines, generators, equipment skids, filters, gas outlet ducts, structures, etc.
).- Responsible for the elaboration of NCR's due to the violation of construction procedures of TC and/or use of materials outside regulations.- Preparation of daily work progress reports including photographs of the work.- Responsible for detecting factors that could jeopardize compliance with the program and provide solution alternatives to the project PMs.- Quality Assurance and Control of design drawings and documentation.- Other tasks as required.
**Qualifications**:- Bilingual in Spanish and English at a conversational level or better.
It would be convenient.- Ability to complete detailed engineering design, analysis, and equipment specification.- Proficient in reading and understanding mechanical discipline drawings including P&IDs, piping isometrics, general arrangements, mechanical system drawings.- Able to work with stakeholders from various levels within the organization.- Able to work efficiently and productively in both a team environment and independently.- Demonstrated familiarity with project management principles and practices; - Education/Experience_-Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognized by SEP (professional license/ID) preferred with a minimum of 4 years' experience; relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.- Strong knowledge of applicable Codes and laws, best practices for design, construction, and commissioning of Mechanical systems and related facilities- Background in the Natural Gas pipeline industry would be beneficial but not absolutely required.- Willingness to work away from home for limited periods of timeAbout our businessTC Energy is a leading energy infrastructure company in North America.
