Mechanical Quote Analyst 2 (N)

**Quote Analyst 2**T**his position is to support SGS new business quoting.
****Education**:- Bachelor degree mechanical, industrial supply chain, or equivalent.
**Experience**:- 2 or 3 years minimum experience as buyer, planner, or other supply chain /quoting role.
**Knowledge**:- Experience in purchasing and quoting with a background in mechanical items (plastic, sheet metal or machined parts).
Custom build to print items.
Understand various processes for different mechanical items.
Experience in opening, readng and interpreting drawings.
**Skills**:- Strong English skills (written & verbal) in a business environment.- Experience in reading and interpreting drawings- Strong PC tool skills (spreadsheet, file management, etc.
)- Self motivated and driven- Able to work independently with respect to firm timelines and as a team**Responsibilities**:- Working within a regional quote team; support activities related to quotation process for new business.- Responsible for assigned commodities within global quote team; review and prepare RFQ for release to suppliers.- Follow up and escálate as needed with suppliers.- Follow Sanmina SOPS for quoting process- Work and maintain relationship with suppliers Source, identify and determine the most competitive quote
