Honeywell Buildings Technologies (HBT) is looking for a talented engineer who will develop firmware and software for systems and devices, in different software layers, from firmware to embedded applications as well as develop tools for internal use. You will participate in design process and test and evaluate prototypes from initial engineering samples to mass production. You will aid in the design and development of devices and systems, and redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of Honeywell's customers.Key responsibilities:Deliver across the entire system life cycle - concept, design, build, deploy, test and release - of embedded systems.Work directly with developers, testers and product managers to conceptualize, build, code and test embedded systems by following Agile methodologies.Collaborate with other professionals to determine requirements for new systems or solutions and perform feasibility evaluations.Learn quickly, be self-driven and complete assignments on time.You must have:Undergraduate studies of any field related to Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, Digital Systems or related engineering field.Good communication skills and an advanced English level, both verbal and written.Good analytical thinking, troubleshooting & problem-solving skills, coupled with the drive to learn.Good research skills, be self-driven and have a proactive positive attitude.Availability to work full-time.We value:6 months of experience working with different microcontroller related projects, using embedded C and/or have strong coding skills in C and C++ at time of internship.Knowledge of fundamentals on wired protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, USB, etc. is a plus.Knowledge of fundamentals on protocols stacks like TCP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, ModBus is a plus.Knowledge of RTOS and Unix-based operating systems fundamentals is a strong plus.Understanding of hardware design principles and PCB design hands-on experience is a strong plus.You Should Have:Bachelors in Mechatronics, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science active student or no more than 6 months graduated.English Advanced.Availability to cover a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday.RFC.Additional Information:JOB ID: HRD908300Category: EngineeringLocation: Av.
