.The Media Coordinator supports the media team and is responsible for the execution of many of the procedural elements of buying and executing a media schedule, typically one involving audio media, such as podcast, satellite and terrestrial radio, streaming, etc.In executing the required processes and steps in support of the media team, the Media Coordinator collaborates and interacts with the media team, the strategy team, finance team, analytics team, and our media partners.This position is essential to the day-to-day functioning of the media department and requires rigorous attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, follow-through, a strong sense of ownership, commitment to deadlines, and a keen ability to prioritize. The work environment is a team-focused, fast-paced, regularly shifting, startup type environment.Essential Duties include but are not limited to:Work with the media lead and account group to confirm approval to book before submitting insertion orders (IOs)Send new or revised I/Os to networks as media buys are confirmed or updatedConfirm their receipt and understanding of ordersReceive network I/Os back from networks and confirm their accuracyFile I/Os according to internal process and specificationsEnter media plan details into the media management software system with correct codes and dataUpdate and revise plan details in the software system as plan changes are confirmedUpdate any internal booking tracker promptly and with rigorous accuracyPromptly reconcile discrepancies between booked and cleared media spendEnsure any reconciled updates in our media system are complete within 48 hoursComplete and initiate CIA wire requests to financeCultivate and maintain positive, strong relationships with networks and vendorsOrganize and update media team filesAssist in maintenance of the Master Audio Universe Database or other internal DBsComplete media ad hoc requests before, during, and after the schedule runsRequirements:Bachelor's degree or above is preferredComfortable with significant amounts of data entry with attention to accuracy and detailStrong proficiency in excel, including pivot tablesGeneral media background (buying, planning, or sales), Direct Response buying preferredKnowledge of Strata Media Buying software is a plusStrong numerical aptitudeWorks well under pressure and under tight deadlinesExcellent organizational skillsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyProactive problem-solvingBenefits:Awesome Benefits for Our Team!Christmas Bonus: 30 days, to be paid in DecemberMajor Medical Expense Insurance: Coverage up to $20,000,000.00 MXNMinor Medical Insurance: VRIM membership with special discounts on doctor's appointments and accident reimbursementsDental Insurance: Always smile with confidence!Life Insurance: (Death and MXN Disability)Vacation Days: 12 vacation days in accordance with Federal Labor Law, with prior approval from your manager
