Serve as a team member of functional experts for multi-media productions in support of military exercises. Responsible for the development and execution of audiovisual productions to include directing, recording, and editing simulated news broadcasts, training videos, print articles, and other media products.
**Duties**:
- Develop media products for military training exercises.
- Assist in transportation of equipment to training locations in and around the Pacific Command.
- Provide simulated media support in the role of reporter to support training objectives.
- Attend training and required events to understand and grasp the scenario development throughout exercises.
- Develop and portray simulated media products for review and submission.
- Ability to perform tasks under strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capable of transporting and lifting 25-pound boxes of documents and equipment.
- Able to travel unaccompanied to, and work at, distant off-site training locations in Korea, Japan, CONUS and other locations.
- Self-motivated and able to move, carry, and operate technical equipment in both studio and field environments.
- Understands the logic of media's role in military operation.
- Write broadcast style video scripts, research video and audio libraries, and obtain relevant B-roll for video productions.
- Edit raw footage of videotaped scenes or stock footage into a final video product.
Position Requirements
**Minimum Job Requirements**:
- Experience as a Media Specialist in nonlinear editing utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud Premiere Pro and other related software (Illustrator, After Effects, In Design, etc.)
- Knowledge of military operations.
- Associate degree
- Ability to manage multi-dimensional projects
- Experience in broadcast news, military, or commercial video productions
- Five years' experience in non-linear video editing
- Proficient in use of video production equipment and working knowledge of graphics software
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must possess a valid US Passport
- Must be able to work on site in Camp Humphreys, South Korea Individual selected must have an active SECRET security clearance.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Bachelors' or higher degree in media production
- Experience producing media for military training exercises
- Experience working with senior military and government personnel
