Overview: The Media Strategist plays a critical role in leading discussions with new and existing clients to help the Canela Media team understand the business challenges our clients face and in defining client goals and shaping an integrated brand experience. They are responsible for translating client requirements into solutions that ensure a return on their investment by leveraging a deep understanding of consumer and technology trends, media channels, the competitive landscape, and customer insights.
The Ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter, looking to leverage their analytical and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced start-up environment. This is an analytical position that supports the Sales teams and their clients. You'll help develop compelling, media plans and customized proposals to refine how we position all Canela Media's CTV, OTT, OLV and sponsorship to help achieve our clients campaign objectives.
Responsibilities Strategize and develop media plans from inception to completion, understanding the role of inventory in addition to the KPIs and metrics behind all product offering Work with cross-functional teams to align the client's objectives with Canela's offerings across all categories. This role is responsible for building out the media strategy of a proposal to meet the client's KPIs as well as managing the margin of the proposal. Manage client requests throughout the RFP process, inclusive of: plan changes, budget revisions, distribution asks, marketplace and industry information, specs, timeline development, etc. Critical & strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with the ability to think unconventionally in proposing effective media solutions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse groups. Utilize data analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of media campaigns. Interpret key metrics, derive insights, and prepare reports to demonstrate the effectiveness of strategies. Continuously optimize campaigns based on data-driven findings. Work closely with creative teams to align media strategies with compelling content creation. Provide strategic guidance to ensure that media efforts align with brand messaging and goals. Develop and manage media budgets effectively. Allocate resources efficiently across different media channels while maximizing ROI. Identify cost-effective opportunities and negotiate favorable deals with media vendors. Qualifications: 2-3+ years of digital media planning or buying experience is a must Strong knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem and technical market standards (VAST, VPAID, ad-serving, SSP, DSP, DV, IAS, etc.) Ability to work independently and with diverse groups Ability to analyze, extract, and communicate insights from complex data sets Exceptional eye for detail/organizational skills Experience with different cost pricing methodologies across CTV, OTT and display #J-18808-Ljbffr
