Merchandising Analyst Manager
**Position Purpose**
**Primary Accountabilities**
- (Managing) Ensure and develop the base of talent and necessary competencies of the same for the analytical business support of the merchandise team.
Maintains cohesive and motivated the group for maximum productivity.
- "(Business Analysis) Permanently evaluates the performance of the business, anticipates the opportunities and detonates mechanisms of action.
Deep understanding of the business.
- It appropriates the Line Review process to implement a higher strategic level (analytical, sustainable and profitable focus)".
- (Data Processing) Provides key information for decision making and / or change management of the Analysis and Pricing Merch Director.
- (Leadership) Collaborates in the development of the analysis capabilities of the organization from coaching, critical-constructive and strategic thinking.

**Education & Experience**
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Business Administrations, Statistics, Engineering or comparable field.
Years of Experience: Five to seven years.
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Should meet all of the requirements for Merchandising Analyst.
Also this position requires the person to be proactive and have demonstrated leadership ability.
Must have a product manager's level of understanding of the 4 P's of retailing.
Demonstrate advanced data step/macro programming in SAS, ability to perform advanced statistical analysis including regression, correlation and cross-tabs, be team's resource for financial reporting and understanding of EVA, P&L, Balance Sheets.
Must be able to write advanced SQL queries such as may include left joins, having, and exists conditions.
English required.
Others / Preferred: Graduate degree/MBA preferred.
