.**Job Description**:Responsible for developing and maintain heat treatment statistical controls, develop and implement maintenance routines to achieve and maintain product quality and productivity.Only person responsible in organization to perform changes on heat treatment recipes to assure quality requirements meets.Quality Engineer responsible of activities that includes all metrics of Voice of Customer (VOC), Initial, Long Term and Design Quality. Also responsible for monitoring progress to meet quality goals through common global process assessments, facilitating rapid containment of issues, installation of countermeasures and Leadership concerns, if required, to ensure Quality targets are on track. A considerable amount of creativity and initiative are involved, as well as a high level of independent discernment.Key Job Elements:Partner with Chief Engineer to drive the appropriate priorities and discipline in the organization.Lead Program Quality and Readiness Reviews (PQRR's) to verify that critical to Quality and Readiness work meet the customer's requirements, and are completed on time with integrity; assure there is a high level of awareness of the risk potential of non-green work and provide guidance on whether to proceed or not proceed decisions.Initiate target setting early in the VDP and lead Quality Councils in order to monitor status and drive VOC input (APEAL, IQS, and specific regional concerns) in to future programsFacilitate Quality Wall Review at PPO/Integration Vehicle BuildEnsure Quality Assessment is performed and all issues are contained/resolvedManage Captured Test Fleet and drive all issues to be contained/resolvedParticipate in CPIT meetings and drive JD Power and Warranty Improvement InitiativesPrepare Program updates for Product Development Quality Leadership**Additional Job Description**:- Licenciatura en Materiales, Metalurgia, Calidad y Productividad, Ingieniería Industrial o afín.- Conocimiento deseable en CQI-9- Conocimiento deseable en proceso de tratamiento térmico por inducción- Conocimiento de proceso de tratamiento térmico por nitrurado.- Disponibilidad para rolar turnos- Inglés intermedio*Recuerda adjuntar tu CV al momento de aplicar a esta vacante*La diversidad y la inclusión son nuestras fortalezas.
