**Job Overview**: The Metallurgist is responsible for supporting and managing daily activities related to metallurgical processes in gold, silver, and copper processing plants. The role includes conducting laboratory tests, assisting in plant commissioning, and collaborating with technical teams to improve process efficiency. The position requires the ability to work on remote sites and travel as needed.
**Responsibili**ti**es:
**Support in Metallurgical Processes**:
- Support the optimization of plant metallurgical processes, working closely with the technical team to improve performance.
- Participate in the development of new techniques and the implementation of improvements in existing processes.
**Laboratory Tes**ti**ng**:
- Perform routine metallurgical laboratory tests and collaborate in the planning of advanced experiments.
- Analyze and report test results, providing key insights for operational decision-making.
**Plant Commissioning**:
- Assist in the commissioning of new metallurgical plants and pilot plants, helping with equipment adjustments and process tuning.
- Work alongside engineers and operators to ensure plants meet desired performance standards.
**Travel and Remote Work**:
- Willingness to travel and work in remote locations, providing technical support and supervision at on-site plants.
**Communica**ti**on and Collabora**ti**on**:
- Collaborate with other metallurgists and operations teams to ensure processes align with production goals.
- Effectively communicate in English and interact with technical and managerial teams.
**Requirements**:
**Experience**:
- 5 or more years of experience in metallurgical processes, preferably in gold, silver, and copper.
- At least 3 years of experience in metallurgical laboratories conducting routine tests.
**Other Requirements**:
- Experience in the commissioning of metallurgical plants and pilot plants. Ability to travel and work in remote locations.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, with the ability to effectively communicate in technical international setti
