Responsibilities:
Job position's aim:
Organising, coordinating, preserving, controlling and administering the measuring and testing equipment, and integrating the Metrology Laboratory, as well as the correct and timely execution of each and every one of the activities that are carried out, in accordance with the established regulations.
Main responsabilities:
- Take care of the reference standards in the laboratories and ensure their safekeeping.
- Establish individual strategies and goals for each area where measuring and testing equipment is used.
- Establish with those responsible for each area, the calibration programmes for standards and instruments in their laboratories by keeping evidence of each calibration.
- Plan, supervise and control all the administrative aspects inherent to the laboratory and to the measuring and testing equipment, as well as supervise the correct training of the personnel who use the measuring equipment.
To act as a representative before any internal body related to metrology and with customers and suppliers.
To make, review and calibration reports of the measuring and test equipment and to organise internal quality audits of the measuring and test equipment and the laboratory.
- Promote the services of the laboratory to the different processes of the organisation.
- Participate in seminars, courses, congresses, exhibitions and other events related to the area and related topics, which allow keeping the laboratory staff updated in the metrological area.
Qualifications:
Requierementes:
- Bachelor's degree level preferred
- At least 3 years' experience in the same position
- Knowledge in:
Inspection and sampling protocols
Process quality management tools.
Internal audits ISO 9001 Standard and AS9100 Standard (desirable)
Carrying out KAIZEN events
Knowledge and handling of measurement units
Knowledge and handling of measuring equipment
Microsoft Office
Knowledge and handling of KPI's of the area
