Mex Mechanical Engineer

_Review and understand the design requirements for switchgear or reclosers._
- _Participate in design review meetings as required._
- _Provide support for departments within the organization as needed._
- _Detail and draw new solid parts or accessories used on switchgear or reclosers as required._
- _Prepare drawings with mechanical details, assembly indications, tolerances, and bills of materials._
- _Prepare drawings with electrical details, assembly indications, tolerances and bills of materials._
- _Select and integrate the following switchgear or recloser components:_
- _Current and voltage transformers_
- _Protective relays and programmable controllers_
- _Power supplies_
- _Motor controls_
- _Communication devices (radios, antennas, modems)_
- _Release of drawings as required by purchase order and upload of bill of materials to JDE system._
- _Functional testing support to manufacturing when required._
- _Preparation of manuals, instructions and check sheets for review of the above items as required._
- _Coordination of intercompany work on design orders and laboratory testing as required._
- _Support in the development of new suppliers._
- _Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related._
- _A minimum of two (2) years of experience related to the design of electromechanical equipment or devices._
- _At least (2) years design and commissioning experience_
- _Working experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Creo Parametric _
