We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the position as Mexico Country Controller to support our Mexico Operations by taking an important role in the roll out of new ERP, ensure compliance with applicable laws and drive process improvements within overall Finance function. This position oversees auditing accounts, budgeting, financial statements and forecasts while supporting daily business activities.

You will also interact with other financial functions in different North America and South America business lines, as well as government authorities, auditors, and sales team.

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage, analyze, interpret, and report financial information for capital investment and budget allocation decisions, including daily, monthly, and yearly financial reporting, estimates, annual plans, strategy calculations.- Analyze financial and other relevant information to inform key strategic outcomes and support the formulation of business strategies.- Prepare financial outlooks and business performance forecasts for Mexico business lines.- Create, implement, and monitor processes and procedures around the delivery of short-term forecasts.- Implement corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls and communicate these across the business.- Work effectively in a shared services accounting environment (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Cash)- Support location payroll process and Value Added Taxes (VAT) analysis.- Responsible for the analysis of all variances, gross margin, gross profit, and operating profit inputs.- Advise on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions, working with other function managers to put the finance view in context.- Work as a business partner with areas of the business to prepare financial plans and estimates of future business plans.- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting practices, rules and regulations (CAPEX, IFRS, MX Gaap, NIF, SAT, etc.) and corporate governance practices.- Deals with complex analysis, forecasts and business cases for a major unit.

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree from college or university in Business, Accounting or Finance with a minimum 10 years' experience.- Prior work exposure with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Prior experience with BAAN and Infor LN will be considered as a valuable asset.- The position requires knowledge of import/export regulations and experience in managing customs brokers.- Knowledge of tax law in Mexico is required since you will be responsible for the company's billing.- Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written).- Ability to succeed in international matrix environment.- Customer service mindset. Work complexity and business impact with high individual responsibility of results.- Good communication skill and leadership potential, play as a multitasker and role model in the team and cross-functional teamwork.- Details-oriented, accountable for results and act with high sense of responsibility.- Self-driven for higher performance and continuous improvement.
