Amazon Payments is seeking a high-energy Senior Program Manager to drive operational excellence, financial controllership, and product innovation in our Latam Payments Business Operations team.

This role requires a strong background in payments, financial operations, accounting, and tax expertise to ensure compliance and optimize financial and settlement processes.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead, prioritize, and direct the team to meet and improve key payments and finance key financial events metrics and SLAs
- Identify and build key business relationships to understand challenges and opportunities
- Manage operational relationships with third-party payment partners (internal and external)
- Identify operational gaps in new offerings and set requirements for new projects to implement process improvements
- Resolve escalations and lead improvement projects to enhance customer experience and internal processes
- Partner with internal teams to support new payments products post-launch
- Build and analyze business and operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Oversee financial controllership, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting by collaborating with accounting and tax teams
- Develop and implement financial controls and risk management strategies to ensure regulatory and internal compliance
