5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of studies required plus at least 8 years of professional background
- Fluent in both, English and Spanish
Amazon Payments is looking for a high energy Program Manager to drive product and operational excellence in Mexico Payments upcoming product launches.
In this position, applicants will be responsible for driving operational excellence and building the appropriate workstreams to enable programmatic excellence for our internal businesses and customers. Applicants should be comfortable with ambiguity and willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Ownership and Bias for Action are extremely important, and applicants should have a proven track record of managing short term and long-term projects.
This opportunity also requires, problem-solving, project management, data analytics and exceptional communication. You will play a critical role to enable Amazon Payments Product's continuing scalability by raising the bar of our product's quality, availability, and efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
- Work closely with engineering, business operations, and product teams to drive program execution for critical initiatives across Mexico Payments.
- Build business and operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvements.
- Effectively use internal analytics and support tools to develop dashboards, identify risks to deliver commitments and drive corrective actions and resolution.
- Prioritize workstreams to deliver technical, operational and product feature improvements.
