Your main responsibility will be leading and collaborating with the groups supporting store and customs compliance needs relative to regulatory and/or customer demands. This individual will report to the Mexico Trade Compliance team while helping continue research, create solutions, and enforce compliance throughout Mexico. Some key areas supported by this team include: Trade Compliance, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations & Logistics Teams**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Enforcing company policy with regards to Customs & Compliance.- Development & training to the Branches about the IMMEX Decree.- Maintain complete administration of the internal customs inventory control system (Annex 24) utilized by the import and export operation.- Responsible for maintaining the database of the inventory control system (Annex 24) accurate and reconciled against the official Mexican Customs Report (Data Stage).- Responsible for obtaining the necessary information to prepare the analysis to be able to perform the discharge process such as bill of materials, values and costs information, HTS codes, etc.- Manage the discharge process for materials and components temporarily imported into Mexico through the inventory control system. Present results to management to take the appropriate actions to be able to keep the inventory balances accurate and correct.- Manage the discharge process for machinery and equipment imported temporarily to Mexico though the customs inventory control system.- Prepare the appropriate discharge reports for consumptions of materials, components and machinery as required by the VAT certification and submit the report through the Government portal (SAT portal) as required by Annex 31of the Foreign Trade Laws.- Track and report materials and components imported to Mexico on a temporary basis that are not getting the correct consumptions in the discharge process through the correct bill of materials.- Track and report materials that are obsolete or have low movement to take the appropriate actions. Avoid open balances exceeding the allowed period to remain in Mexico to comply with the IMMEX Foreign Trade Rules.- Track and control scrap though the inventory control system (Annex 24).- Reconcile open import balances from the internal inventory control system- Coordinate Import Export System updates with the IT Department and System Software Provider.- Database management excel advanced.- Problem-solving and project management.- KPIS for IMMEX and CIVA certificate,- SAT audits.- Using Smartsheet, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite regularly
