.MFG & PROCESS DVL ENGINEER I (Automation Control)Te Connectivity – San Isidro, Son.Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Manufacturing and Process Development Engineering Teams significantly impact LEANPD driven new product development projects, driving for excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods and striving to implement new manufacturing technologies to provide improved process and tolerance control. They act as the binding element between product development and manufacturing engineering, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical interface. They support Product Development in the optimization of designs and piece parts for manufacturability by realizing sample tooling/products/prototypes. They also design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE quality and production standards, document all processes and tooling in applicable TE systems, support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability, initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, cost and cycle time and adhere to all appropriate specifications, regulatory requirements and customer requirements.What your background should look like:EXPERIENCE1 to 3 years of experience in new product launches and automation control system designs and fabrication.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

- Sufficient knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office.

- Design experience in automation controls (PLCs, servos, vision systems, sensors, ladder logic, function block programming, electrical schematics development, etc.)
- Control system debugging and optimization.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reduce operator variability by designing and implementing automation control systems.
- Develop and update manufacturing process instructions for all control systems.
- Develop and update training materials on control/schematics for manufacturing processes auto machinery.
- Support of prototypes and pilot production of new products, product changes and improvements in coordination with the functions of Operations and Quality Compliance.
- Initiate/manage capital goods projects; Specify and implement new manufacturing equipment.
- Analyze performance and process control data.
- Resolve component design deficiencies in relation to component assembly.
- Suggest design changes to new products to reduce costs and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Prepare machinery connection schematic drawings; Assign the facility to the project team and hire outside contractors as needed.
- Identify, source, acquire, design or adapt machines, tools and equipment to meet production requirements.
- Provide feedback to R+D engineering on design concepts and specifications
