TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.**What your background should look like**:**Purpose of the position: (Main objective of the position)**- Management and administration of international transportation following direction of global transportation team to achieve the objetives of the legal entity.- Management and administration of the foreign trade compliance area aligned to corporate and legal guidelines in Mexico.- Administration of Guadalajara City warehouse.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:- New carriers' implementation according to global logistics tender.- Definition of the best logistics route from each origin to Queretaro, Mx.- Reach agreements with the carriers to consolidate loads by region to minimize logistics costs.- Ensure transportation reporting and carrier evaluations according to the carrier evaluation program- Meet the TE performance and service standards laid out by standardized key performance indicators.**REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION**:- Scholarship: Bachelor and master's in international Transportation,Trade Compliance and Customs- Professional experience: 10 years minumum- Knowledge:- International transportation- Air- Ocean- land- Logistics.- Purchasing.- Planning.- Warehouse.- Customs law specialist**Competencies**:- Motivating Others- Building Effective Teams- Managing and Measuring Work- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation- SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
