.TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.**What your background should look like**:**ACTIVITIES**:1.Develop and maintain robust quality processes and procedures to be included in the quality management system adhering to ISO9001 standards2.Manage, coordinate and maintain the company's quality management systems and certifications. Including liaising with the external certification body on and during surveillance and renewal audits3.Plan, lead and conduct internal audits in line with the requirements of the company's quality management systems to ensure adherence and consistency4.Identify, manage and ensure continuous improvements in the Quality management systems in compliance with business objectives standards and requirements of the external certification body5.Manage and conduct Suppliers surveys and audits on suppliers/vendors/contractors6.To champion and liaise with respective personnel on the investigation of root cause(s) of non-conformance and procedural failures.7. To ensure that corrective actions are in place and implemented for all non-conformances detected during audits and daily work processes8.Responsible for ensuring work is carried out in accordance with documented procedures9.To prepare monthly non-conformance analysis and KPI reports10.To review and approve required specifications and revisions in documentation prior to releasing for production or to customers**REQUIREMENTS**:- 5+ years of related work experience in a similar role- Proven track record in quality assurance and management systems- Proven track record of leadership with ISO 9001, AS9100 or ISO 17025 quality management systems- Organized and self-motivated to work with mínimal supervisor- Product knowledge an advantage but not essential- Highest level of accuracy/attention to detail in work to ensure standards of work are exemplary with mínimal defect. Never compromising trust and integrity with quality- Excellent communication at all levels both internally within the business and with suppliers / customers.
