- What you will be doing- PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee AR & AP with all connected reconciliations within the country they support. Complete monthly, quarterly, yearly internal and statutory reporting US-GAAP and local GAAP. Process manual JE (accrual, payroll etc.), Fixed Assets, Tax declaration where applicable, and B/S reconciliations. Supporting and monitoring of World Courier policies and procedures for any Finance team members within their country. Support and prepare the investment approval process for smaller items - CER Support and prepare the annual Budget for the country in which they support. Act as country's main contact and support for internal/external Audits related to Finance. Oversee external accounting company, if applicable. Process payroll, if applicable. Build and maintain relationships within the country they support that motivates, guides and encourages the Finance team members. Support the improvement of SAP practices.What your background should look like- EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Certificate level qualification in Finance Relevant booking skills /experience Fluency in English Experience with ERP systems Experience in analyzing Variances of Actuals vs Plan, and Actuals vs PY 2-4 years of relevant experience in a Management role 5-7 years of professional experience in a multinational companyREPORTS DIRECTLY TO:Regional Finance DirectorMINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:Strong accuracy and attention to detail Solid time management and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to develop and optimize the working processes Open and self-evident interaction with head of other departmentsWORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
