They work with senior management to define technical road maps aligned with market directions and communicate across other Business Units to share applicable technology. Our Engineering Managers leverage TE global technology to increase competitive position and increased value to our customers. They identify relevant technology trends and opportunities, develop relationships and partnerships with key customers, industry leaders and core suppliers, define and manage IP strategy, assess talent and implement development plans to assure succession planning and organization capability.What your background should look like:Qualifications:Mechanical, Material Science or Mechatronic Engineering degree (or equivalent).7+ years of experience, preferably in product design/sustaining for the aerospace industry.Fully Bilingual English - Spanish.Experience with CREO or SolidWorks design software.Understand good engineering principles and design practices.Familiar with Aerospace specifications and standards.GDT – Geometric Tolerances / stack up analysis experience, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma environment preferred.Strong mechanical and material analysis; troubleshooting skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Must be a self-managed team player with superior time management skills.Must be able to clearly articulate their ideas, listen actively, and provide constructive feedback. Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.Leadership skills are also essential, as they are often responsible for mentoring junior team members, leading project teams, and making hard technical decisions.Flexible to travel to suppliers as required of the job.Requirements:Bachelor's Engineering Degree or equivalent including managerial experience.Must have 10+ years of overall experience with technology based industrial operations of electrical and mechanical parts, including 3+ years of demonstrated leadership success in sustaining product engineering or development engineering.Strong fluent bilingual skills in Spanish and English.Advanced degree preferred either MS Eng or MBA.Must be a Mexico citizen able to work without restrictions and preferably have documented US Persons status to ensure no restrictions in ITAR / Export Controlled facility
